Perennials - A Novella

by Francis Michael Buck

Published June 30, 2010

Due to the nature and structure of this story I have decided to simply upload the entire book to a file-hosting website for you to read. All the formatting is ruined when I paste it here and anyway there's really no good spot to break up the first chapter. The novel/novella (it's borderline) is about 125 pages long, so obviously I don't expect you all to read the entire thing. Hopefully though it's good enough to keep one or two of you intrigued. Have fun and please feel free to give any thoughts and criticisms you have. Keep in mind I am still heavily polishing the actual writing, however the story itself is essentially complete. Please don't be intimidated by its length! I really need some subjective point of views.

WARNING: This story contains coarse language, graphic violence and sexuality, and some very adult themes. It's not for the faint of heart and is most certainly only for mature readers. You know who you are (hopefully).

Just click the "free download" option. You'll have to wait for a timer to countdown one minute. I know it's a pain but I'd rather you all get it the way it's supposed to be, rather than artificially broken up on the forums.

Thanks for letting me know about that. I already posted it there. If someone wants to close this they can go ahead. Also, does anyone know of a good way to upload the novel directly to the site?

Sorry, but I think you've got this in the wrong section. General Fiction Novels are not for full novels, just chapters. If you want to post a full book for review, post it in "Advanced Critiques". You're sure to get more reviewers there, as no one will review a full novel posted here.

Also, try uploading it a .doc or .rtf file directly here so there's no chance for viruses. Thanks, and good luck.

125 pages...wow. x)
Good job.

There are those who say that life is like a book, with chapters for each event in your life and a limited number of pages on which you can spend your time. But I prefer to think that a book is like a life, particularly a good one, which is well to worth staying up all night to finish.
